Since it is only thirty five miles from Harrisburg, PA, we had the obligatory visit to the capital building. Capital Complex is one of the finest in the nation, as we have seen so sada.zgrada was dedicated in 1906 by Theodore Roosevelt, and was restored to its original splendor in time for the centennial celebration. staircase was modeled after the Paris Opera House. There were supposed to be two scantily clad female statue holding the torch at the bottom of the stairs. Citizens were outraged. architect decided that the statues and put them in the capital in Des Moines, Iowa.Kupola is modeled after St. Peter in the Vatican. If you like marble, you will like the capital. Throughout the building, paintings, mosaics, stained-glass windows, and ornate lighting. It's not flamboyant, but very nice.

Hershey is about ten kilometers drive east of the capital. Hershey Chocolate is synonymous with the garment. What I did not realize a number of other brands that are manufactured there. The city has a large amusement park, convention centers, stadiums, and many other attractions. We went to Chocolate World Tour only mechanized the production of chocolate. get in cars such as the amusement park, and it guides you through the tour. When you give out some chocolate to eat. the rest of the building is filled with shops, an area where children can participate in the production of chocolate, 3-D movie and a great food court. I was amazed at the number of people who were there. chocoholics the world, unite! Of course you can not leave without buying gifts.

Today we went to Hog Heaven, aka, Harley-Davidson plant in York, PA. Police officers and firefighters have their own models. Many were on an assembly line. We had an excellent tour of facilities and quality that goes into producing this wonderful road machine.
