Harley Davidson Motorcycle Boots

By Jack Travers

Safety on your motorcycle can sometimes only be a concern once you have already crashed into something. The inevitable I told you so and what were you thinking type of questions arise as you are hopefully picking yourself up off the pavement in one piece.
Almost everyone understands the value of wearing a helmet even though many riders choose not to do so, fewer still understand the value of wearing leather to protect your skin in the event of a skid down a pavement covered road. Even fewer still understand the importance of wearing a good, solid pair of motorcycle boots to protect your feet.
Your feet are especially vulnerable to a number of factors in the event of a crash. They not only can suffer the dreaded road rash if your sneakers or shoes are ripped from your feet but your ankles also suffer from rotational torque if they have no support above the ankle. This doesn't even consider how easily your toes would break under the stress induced in an end over end roll down the highway.
While you may not end up in a coma from not wearing a good pair of motorcycle boots, you very well could end up in a wheelchair or worse, maybe lose your feet for life.

My boot of preference is the same brand as my motorcycle. I like the comfort and the style that Harley Davidson boots provide. I know style shouldn't be a factor when selecting safety gear but let's face it, people are people and they are always going to want to look good as they ride their motorcycles.
Harley Davidson boots offer both, they offer a huge selection of varied styles and designs and they are constructed using some of the industry leading materials and standards to produce a pair of boots that will protect you feet as best as they can in the event of a crash. Nothing is guaranteed but you can increase the odds that your feet will survive in the event of a tragedy, by wearing a great pair of Harley Davidson Boots.
